FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
WHAT IS DIRECT DONATION?
No one likes to sell things and no one likes to deliver them. Direct
Donation was created so that each family could donate in lieu of
selling door to door. The PTA sets a 100% goal of $50 per family so
that it can meet it's financial obligations.
WHERE IS THE MONEY GOING?
Direct Donation goes directly to the students. Some of
the things it is used for are assemblies, computer
software, and to help our teachers out with the "extras"
that their budget just doesn't cover. 100% of Direct
Donation Funds Stay Within Our School!!

HOW DO I DONATE?
You may download a copy of the form by CLICKING HERE. Please write
your checks to Hereford Middle School PTA and include Direct
Donation in the memo. Just send it to school with your child in a
sealed enveloped marked PTA Direct Donation c/o Catherine Webb. If
you do not have your form, just send your check in a marked
envelope. Although we discourage cash being sent with students, we
welcome all donations. If you choose to send cash please include
your name, address, and phone number so that we can send you a
receipt for your taxes.

WHAT IS CORPORATE DONOR MATCHING?
Many corporations offer a Matching Gifts Program. They will match
100% of your donation. So if you donate $50, your company will also
contribute a tax-deductible $50. All you have to do is get a form
from your company and fill out the top portion with your personal
information. Then, just send it to us and we'll take care of the
rest!
MY COMPANY IS INVOLVED IN THE UNITED WAY CAMPAIGN. CAN I
DESIGNATE HEREFORD MIDDLE SCHOOL AS MY RECIPIENT?
Yes, you can hit two birds with one stone. All you have to do is
send us your United Way Pledge Card. It's that easy!
WHAT IF I JUST CAN'T AFFORD IT RIGHT NOW?
We understand that Back to School costs can be overwhelming. Please
know that our Direct Donation campaign runs all year. We
work with and respect everyone's financial situation. Be assured all
information is kept confidential. Just contact us.
